Active Ingredients:
Lemon Peel Extract - (Citrus medica limon) a fragrant and mildly exfoliating ingredient known for its antioxidant properties. It is considered astringent, antiseptic, antibacterial and balancing.
Aloe Vera - This plant extract improves the circulation and regenerates the cells. Its effects are soothing, astringent, and protecting. Aloe has been recognized for many years as also being anti-inflammatory and antibiotic. Aloe is also excellent for sensitive skins, rosacea conditions, and dry skin.
Hyaluronic Acid - This ingredient occurs naturally in the dermis layer. Its water absorbing abilities help the epidermis achieve much needed suppleness and moisture. Known for its wonderful water binding ability, HA holds water tightly, and when applied to the skin, forms a film similar to the way it holds water in the intercellular matrix of the dermal connective tissue. It is also useful as a carrier for other extracts and active ingredients.
Panthenol - This highly moisturizing ingredient aids in tissue repair and stimulates cellular proliferation. Panthenol also helps the skin promote wound healing and is anti-inflammatory. Its ability to attract water from the environment helps it provide added hydration and suppleness to the skin.
Sodium Ascorbate (Vitamin C) - Also known as one form of Vitamin C, this ingredient is an antioxidant, and helps stabilize other active ingredients.
Tocopheryl Acetate (Vitamin E) - An antioxidant found in vegetable oils and other herbal essential oils. It reduces unwanted skin pigmentation, decreases production of sebaceous gland activity, and increases water retention in the skin. It also serves as a super antioxidant and free radical scavenger. It also helps protect from harmful UVA/UVB sunrays.
